Two Fellows, Taré Suriel and Santiago Rosales, spent six weeks crafting a survey, conducting interviews, and compiling findings and recommendations for future campaign staff and managers.
Team agreements are vital tools for creating equitable workplaces. An agreement allows your team to set cultural norms and internal processes. Agreements hold power because you craft them in collaboration with your team. Campaign environments are full of challenges, and teams may not have the leeway to make all the rules. However, team agreements are an opportunity to identify challenges and make a proactive game plan.
The process itself is as important as the agreement; it allows a team to coalesce under a unified vision of what it will be like to work together.
