Throughout the summer, we’re hosting a series of virtual events to help you plug in, build power, and find your place in the fight, no matter where you’re starting from.

Power Rising Summer is more than a series of events—it’s a launchpad for action. From winning back Congress to strengthening community organizing in your own neighborhood, we’ll explore the most urgent fights of the moment and the roles each of us can play. Power Rising Summer Launch Call

Over the last few months, we’ve heard the same thing from just about everyone: “What can I do to fight back?”

That’s why we’re launching Power Rising Summer—a series of free virtual events to help campaign staff, activists, organizers, and everyday people take meaningful action and fight back. Whether you want to work on a campaign, build power locally, learn new skills, or just feel connected again, Power Rising Summer will help you find your way.

During this launch call, we’ll unveil the first round of programming, hear from special guests, and kick things off together. Then, throughout the summer, we’ll hold panels like Innovations to Take Back Congress; workshops like Finding Yourself in the Movement and Organizing Where You Live; career coaching; book club discussions; and more!

Whether you’re new to Arena or a longtime community member, you won’t want to miss this energizing start to Power Rising Summer.

Ranking the Vote: Lessons from NYC’s Mayoral Primary

Join Team Arena and Forum NYC for a panel unpacking the 2025 NYC Mayoral Primary. We’ll break down what happened, why it matters, and what it could mean for future elections in NYC and beyond.

Panelists will reflect on the key dynamics of the race, the results, and what they reveal about the broader political landscape heading into 2026.

Panelists will also explore the role of ranked choice voting in this election, including how it shaped the outcome, what it takes to implement ranked choice voting effectively, and what other cities and states can learn from New York’s experience.
