We’ve compiled a list of volunteer opportunities to support the campaigns Arena-trained staff and partners are working on. Find one that inspires you and get to work!
Volunteer opportunities
Arena has trained staff in all 50 states, and graduates of our programs are working to elect Democrats on campaigns at every level, from city council races to the Harris-Walz campaign. Some are even running for office themselves! Now is the time to make sure the Arena Community out on the frontlines have the volunteer capacity they need to get the job done. Find a volunteer opportunity that inspires you and sign up for a shift (or five!).

Join the Arena-trained staff Liz Hayes and the DCCC’s Ballot Cure Hotline Training to learn how you can protect the vote this historic election season! Help us protect voters across the nation as we work to take back the House.
Learn from Vote Run Lead Action
Sign up to learn from Arena partner, Vote Run Lead Action! On September 18 they are presenting Bystander Intervention to Stop Voter Harassment and Intimidation at the Polls in direct response to the increased voter intimidation and harassment during elections. This interactive session will train you on how to safely intervene when you witness voter harassment at the polls on election day using Right to Be’s “5Ds” of bystander intervention.
Get involved with Civic Mystics
Join Arena-trained staffer Becky Bullard’s work at Civic Mystics. The Civic Mystics are members of a secret society that magically empowers people to make informed choices and take impactful action around elections. Combining the mysterious arts of social media with little-known wisdom about voters and ballots, we demystify civic engagement and turn curious brats into the political go-tos of their group chats.
Sign up with Election Protection
Support Arena-trained staffer Jenny Guzman by signing up to volunteer with Election Protection. If you agree that every eligible voter deserves to have their voice count, you can take action from home or in person by serving as a nonpartisan Election Protection volunteer.
Volunteer with Voters of Tomorrow to turn out youth voters
Support Arena-trained staffer Bayly Hoehne by signing up with Voters of Tomorrow to turn out youth voters. Too many politicians have failed Gen-Z by putting their futures over ours. Voters of Tomorrow is an organization for Gen Z, by Gen Z. Sign up to text youth voters, friend bank, phone bank and more.
Volunteer with Jewish Democrats
Support Arena-trained staffers working at Jewish Democratic Council of Americ by signing up to phone bank with Jewish Democrats and join their efforts to elect Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and their endorsed slate of Senate and House candidates.
Volunteer with NextGen
Supporter Arena-trained staffers working at NextGen by signing up to volunteer with NextGen to register young voters and calling young voters. NextGen America is the nation’s largest youth voting organization, using innovative digital and field strategies to turn out young voters in key states.
Volunteer with Demcast
Join Arena-trained staff Jamie Carter by volunteering with DemCast to share critical information with voters across social media platforms.
Join Team Gavin Newsom
Support Arena-trained staffer Heather Hays in her distributed organizing efforts by signing up for texting or phone banking with team Newsom to beat Trump and elect Democrats up and down the ballot.
Alabama
Volunteer with the ACLU of Alabama
Support Arena-trained staffer Kayla Sloan and volunteer with Project Move. This new voter outreach program is aimed at building community, engaging new voters, and increasing voter turnout in specific districts and demographics across the state. With new fair maps, Alabama has a fighting chance to send a Democrat to Congress from the second district.
Arizona
Volunteer with Rural Arizona Action
Support Arena-trained staffer Christina Marikos in her work to flip the state legislature in Arizona and elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for president and Reuben Gallego for senate. The volunteer opportunities are focused heavily in the three key legislative districts to flipping the state legislature.
Canvasses are in person, but text banking and phone banking can be done remotely to help turn out AZ support for Harris and US Senate support for Reuben Gallego.
Volunteer with the Arizona Democratic Party
Support Arena-trained staffers including Sasha Cantet and sign up to canvass with the Arizona Democratic Party to help elect Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and Democrats up and down the ballot.
Volunteer with AdLCC to flip the AZ State Legislator
Support Arena-trained staffer Ashton McGee, Clarissa Rodriguez, and Bren Pantilione by signing up to volunteer in Legislative District 4 in Arizona. If Karen Gresham and Kelli Butler are elected in Legislative District 4, they could break the Republican majority in the Arizona House, and if Christine Marsh is reelected in Legislative District 4, she could break the Republican majority in the Arizona Senate.
Volunteer to re-elect Arena Grad Gabriella Cázares-Kelly to Pima County Recorder
Support Arena-trained Pima County Recorder Gabriella Cázares-Kelly by volunteering on help re-elect Gabriella. Gabriella made history in 2020 as the first Native American elected to a countywide seat, she’s running for her first bid for reelection. Email GabriellaForRecorder@gmail.com to get involved.
Arkansas
Volunteer with Schaffer for Arkansas
Support Arena-trained staffer Katherine Tipton by signing up to volunteer for Kate Schaffer’s campaign, she is running to flip Arkansas House District 10.
California
Volunteer with Rudy Salas for Congress
Support Arena-trained staffer Ben Dube by signing up for a canvass or phone bank shift for Rudy Salas for Congress. If elected, Rudy will help deliver the House to Democrats. His race is the most flippable in California since President Biden won it by 13% in 2020.
Volunteer with Lisa Middleton
Support Arena-trained staffer Nicholas Maines by signing up for a canvass or phone bank for Lisa Middleton. If elected, Lisa would be the first out transgender person to serve in the California Legislature.
Volunteer with Dave Min
Support Arena-trained staffer Miaojing Zeng by signing up to phone bank or canvass for Dave Min. If elected, Dave will keep Katie Porter’s seat in the House and help to shift the House from red to blue possibly. He would also be one of the few Asian American Congresspeople.

Support Arena-trained staffer Maureen Jerica Acero by signing up to volunteer with John Nolte for City Council.
Volunteer with Harder for Congress
Support Arena-trained staffers working on Harder for Congress by signing up to phone bank to send Josh Harder back to Congress.
Sign up to volunteer with George Whitesides for congress
Support Arena-trained staffer Marlene Esquivel by signing up to volunteer for George Whitesides for Congress. This is a critical red to blue seat, if elected George Whitesides could help Democrats take back the House.

Support Arena-trained staffer Rebecca An by signing up to volunteer with Together SF to knock on doors and motivate voters to pass Prop D and elect Mark Farrell.
Colorado
Volunteer with the Colorado Democratic Party
Support Arena-trained staffer Sierra Rodriguez by signing up to volunteer with the Colorado Democratic Party and their efforts to elect Rep. Caraveo. Rep. Caraveo is the First Congresswoman to openly discuss personal mental health issues. Sign up for a shift and check out the weekly youth phonebanks!
Florida
Volunteer with Debbie For Florida
Support Arena-trained staffer Samuel Ravetz by signing up to volunteer for Debbie Mucarsel Powell. If elected, Congresswoman Mucarsel-Powell would be the First South American-Born U.S. Senator, First Democratic Woman Senator from Florida, and First Latina U.S. Senator from Florida.
Georgia
Volunteer to be a Poll Watcher
Support Arena-trained staffer Carsie Mendoza by signing up to poll watch or recruit poll watchers. Georgia Republicans are trying to change voting rules to make it hard to certify the vote, join the fight to ensure everyone has the right to vote.
Volunteer with the GA Victory Fund in Savannah
Support Arena-trained staffer Antoinette Ross and volunteer to with GA Victory fund to knock doors in Savannah.
Volunteer with 2024 GA Victory
Support Arena-trained staffer Jacob Steel and sign up to be an out of state volunteer in Georgia. The road to the White House runs through Georgia. It will be the enthusiasm and support of grassroots supporters like you that make history again this fall to elect Kamala Harris to be our next President of the United States!
Iowa
Volunteer with One Iowa Action
Support Arena-trained staffers Anna Fiore and Maddy Leahy by signing up for a phone bank or text bank to help elect a pro-equality majority in Iowa. If elected, Aime Wichtendahl would be the first openly transgender legislator in Iowa.
Idaho
Volunteer with Idaho Democratic Party.
Volunteer with Arena-trained staffer Elijah Watson and join the Idaho Democrats distributed efforts. Idaho Democrats are, for the first time in decades, running a candidate in every single legislative district and are running the largest coordinated campaign effort in the history of the State.
Michigan
Volunteer with For Michigan
Calling all college students! Support Arena-trained staffer Camille Jamerson and sign up to volunteer with For Michigan. For Michigan provides a platform for students to be civic leaders in their community through voter registration, education, and turnout by building a scrappy and innovative operation to protect and expand democracy. Help create the future you want to see by getting involved with For Michigan!

Minnesota
Volunteer with Angie Craig for Congress
Support Arena-Trained staffer Jessica Barloga by signing up to phone bank or canvass for Angie Craig for Congress.
Missouri
Missouri Jobs with Justice
Support Arena-trained staffer Bea Hemmelgarn by volunteering with Missouri Jobs with Justice. They are the primary sponsor of Proposition A, a ballot initiative to raise the minimum wage to $15 and guarantee all workers paid sick leave. They are also working to support Amendment 3, which would restore Missourians’ right to reproductive freedom and healthcare, while protecting those rights from onerous state regulations.
Nevada
Support Arena-Trained staffer Molly Donelan and sign up to volunteer with Rosen for Nevada. The battle for Senate control could once again come down to Nevada, and the GOP is zeroing in on Senator Rosen as a top target for defeat. Experts at The Washington Post say that she’s one of the most endangered Democrats up for reelection
New York
Volunteer with AOC
Support Arena-trained staffer David Mahler by signing up to volunteer for Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
New Jersey
Volunteer with Sue Altman for Congress
Support Arena-trained staffers working for Sue Altman for Congress by singing up to canvass for Sue Altman for Congress. This is one of the 22 toss up House races according to Cook Political Report and was decided by 9,000 votes in 2022.
Volunteer with Councilman James Solomon
Support Arena-Trained staffer David Guirgis by signing up to volunteer with Councilman James Solomon they launch their 2025 campaign.
North Carolina
Volunteer with Nicole Sidman for General ASsembly
Support Arena-Trained staffer Anna Fiore by signing up for a phone bank or canvass for Nicole Sidman. Nicole Sidman is running to break the supermajority in the NC general assembly. She is running against Tricia Cotham, the former Democrat who flipped to Republican and overturned abortion access in NC. Unseating her will be a major win for NC Dems and reproductive freedoms.
Volunteer with North Carolina Democrats
Support Arena-trained staffer Justin Cundall and Mackenzie Reedybacon by signing up to volunteer with the North Carolina Democratic Party. The are working to elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, Josh Stein for Attorney General, and break the Republican super majority in the state legislature.
Volunteer with Lorenza Wilkins for state House
Support Arena-trained staffer Clayton Robinson by signing up to volunteer with Lorenza Wilkins’ campaign. If elected Lorenza Wilkins could break the Republican supermajority in North Carolina.
Ohio

Tennessee
Volunteer with Megan Barry for Congress

Support Arena-trained staffer Myrakal Washington by signing up to volunteer with Team Gloria. If elected, she will dismantle the Republican stronghold in Tennessee.
Texas
Volunteer with Julie Johnson for Congress
Support Arena-trained staffer Matthew Bradbury by signing up to canvass with Julie Johnson for Congress. If elected, Julie Johnson will be the first woman to represent District 32 and the first openly gay member of Congress from the South.
Volunteer with Colin Alred for Congress
Support Arena-trained staffer Katy Schmader by signing up to canvass or phone bank for Colin Alred. If elected, Colin Alred will be the first Black senator from Texas and finally send Ted Cruz packing.
Help elect Arena grad Molly Cook
Support Arena-trained staff turned candidate Molly Cook by volunteering on her re-election campaign. Molly is the first out LGBTQ+ member of the Texas Senate and the first woman to represent her district.
Volunteer with Dawn Richardson for TX HD-54
Support Arena-trained staffers working on TX HD-54 by signing up to volunteer for Dawn Richardson’s campaign. If elected, Dawn will challenge a largely Republican state house.
Pennsylvania
Volunteer with the PA House Dems
Support Arena-trained staffer Lyvia Toth by signing up to knock doors and make phone calls for PA House candidates. In 2022, Arena’s Staff Fellowship helped flip the PA State House for the first time in 12 years. Since then, PA House Democrats have fought tooth and nail to keep the majority through a handful of special elections. If we protect the PA House this year, we will keep PA blue—and keep the first woman Speaker of the House Joanna McClinton in office.
Volunteer with Elizabeth Moro for Statehouse
Support Arena-trained staffer Brendan Mattox by signing up to phone bank or canvass for Elizabeth Moro. If elected, Elizabeth Moro will be the first woman and the Democrat to represent PA’s 160th House District.
Volunteer with APIPA
Support Arena-trained staffer Katrina Eames by signing up to volunteer with Asian Pacific Islander Political Alliance. APIPA is the first-ever political organization directly advocating for the needs of Asian Pacific Islanders in Pennsylvania led by and for our communities.
Volunteer with Cartwright for Congress
Support Arena-trained staffer Shelly Tsirulik by signing up to volunteer with Cartwright for Congress. This is a tight race, in Congressman Cartwright’s last election, he won by a slim margin of 7,000 votes in a district that voted for Donald Trump in 2016 and 2020.
