Our Team
June Borst (they/them) is a nonbinary trans organizer and storyteller. They support the day-to-day operations of Arena Careers, Arena’s campaign staff placement work, and 1:1 career coaching for Arena-trained staff.
Before Arena, June worked as a campaign consultant for local Arkansas races, as a field organizer for Cory Booker in Iowa and the Texas Democrats in 2020, and as the operations director and organizer for a 2018 gubernatorial race in Arkansas. They graduated from the University of Arkansas: Little Rock with a degree in Political Science and are the winner of the Marguerite Metcalf Award in Parliamentary Procedure. June served as a co-chair for the Central Arkansas Democratic Socialists and was Arkansas Young Democrat of the year in 2022. June now spends their free time organizing poetry workshops and D&D campaigns.
