Aziz Yakub (he/him) is a longtime democratic campaign manager and talent strategist. He runs Arena’s career development program to support Arena trained-staff and get employers the best political talent possible.
Before Arena, Aziz managed Adam Frisch’s 2022 near upset of Lauren Boebert. Raising $4 million in 4 months, Frisch outperformed nearly every congressional democrat in the closest race in the country. Before that, he managed campaigns and field programs up and down the ballot, from competitive primaries in Maryland, to races in nearly every corner of his home state of New York. He got his start in politics as a field organizer in Northwest Indiana on one of the top targeted US Senate races in the country. A Bronx native, Aziz lives in Washington, DC and has a soft spot for Canton, NY. He is a graduate of Harvard University with an honors degree in English. In his free time, he can be found making pommes anna and overwatering his house plants.
