Ready to Work on a Campaign in 2026? Start Here.

February 06, 2026

If you’re looking for a way to make a difference in the 2026 elections, now is the time to get ready.

More than 52,000 races will be on the ballot this November—from local school boards to every U.S. House seat, along with 33 U.S. Senate races and 36 gubernatorial races. With redistricting reshaping the map and only 8% of House races currently considered competitive, outcomes will be decided by extremely small margins. In recent cycles, control of the House came down to just a few thousand votes.

This cycle, victories won’t be delivered just because of one perfect message or a one-size-fits-all quick fix.

Campaigns will win that have teams behind them that know how to build effective, strategic, and values-driven campaigns.

What Campaigns actually need right now

Campaigns need people who can deliver messages where voters actually consume information, run organizing and digital programs that are both strategic and authentic, and adapt quickly as conditions change. They need staff who understand how to optimize campaigns’ day-to-day operations, and managers who can lead with integrity, run programs under pressure, and use tools like AI effectively and responsibly.

If you’re considering campaign work, or preparing for a new role after a few cycles of experience, it’s common to reach a point where you’re unsure how your skills translate or what strong performance actually looks like. Campaign staff rarely have everything figured out in advance. Winning campaigns are built by people who adapt quickly, learn from experience, build strong networks, and intentionally invest in leveling up their skills.

That’s exactly where Arena Academy comes in.
