Power Rising Summer Recap

Yesterday we wrapped up the final ☀️Power Rising Summer ☀️event!
Power Rising Summer was Arena’s answer to the question: What can I do to fight back? And all summer we gathered campaign staff, activists, organizers, and everyday people to learn, plug in, and take meaningful action together.
The response from our community was powerful:
- 2,307 people signed up for 20+ events
- 23 organizational partners joined us
- Individuals raised their hands 1,532 times to be connected with partner organizations
- And six incredible sponsors supported our work
Throughout the summer, we were joined by special guests, including Illinois Congresswoman Lauren Underwood, Florida Congressman Maxwell Frost, and Michigan State Senator Mallory McMorrow. We also heard from experts across the political ecosystem and had the opportunity to connect and practice new skills in a hands-on environment.

- Workshop: Organizing Where You Live. During this practical workshop we walked through how to organize right where you live, on your block, in your neighborhood, or within your local community. Watch the recording >>
- Resume Training. In our classic Resume Training, we helped attendees with key steps like formatting, telling your story, and tailoring your resume for the roles they want. Watch the recording >>
- Ranking the Vote: Lessons from NYC’s Mayoral Primary. During this panel, Team Arena and Forum NYC unpacked the 2025 NYC Mayoral Primary. We broke down what happened, why it matters, and what it could mean for future elections in NYC and beyond. Watch the recording >>
- Workshop: Local Political Pressure. During this practical workshop, we walked through how to apply political pressure to local and state elected officials. Watch the recording >>
- Maximizing AI and Cyber Security with Google. This event featured experts from the Google team sharing how their tools and resources can help you save time, streamline workflows, and protect your team from digital threats. Watch the recording >>
- Panel: Why Do I Get So Many Fundraising Texts? During this panel, we heard from experts across the digital space—including email strategists, digital consultants, and fundraising experts—to break down why campaigns do what they do, what’s working (and what’s not), and how we can evolve digital practices without sacrificing results.
