In 2021, Krista attended Run Academy and on April 5, 2022, Wauwatosa voters elected Krista LaFave to be the next Wauwatosa Municipal Court Judge.
I loved learning from a wide variety of backgrounds and getting experience in all the different parts of a campaign. It was very helpful for someone running a smaller campaign on their own with a team of volunteers.
Running a campaign is challenging – mentally, emotionally, physically. Figure out your “why” before you get into the race and make sure that you are doing this for reasons that align with your values.
Rely on your “why” when the days are hard and the campaign seems endless.
