Ambalika’s Story

Ambalika was working as a program organizer when she decided to participate in Arena Academy. The political campaign training she recieved at Arena Academy helped refine the skills she had, and she was able to advance in her career quickly because of it.

How has Arena Academy impacted you?

After my first Arena Academy, I launched Planned Parenthood’s first national campaign on c3 voter registration in 2020. Granted, we couldn’t execute the field plans we drafted because of the pandemic. However, I know those field plans would not have been as good or convincing to my colleagues without the training I did at Arena Academy. Right now, I’m consulting full-time on a few projects thanks to my Arena connections!

What advice would you give future Academy participants?

Network, network, network! Building relationships is the key to finding a career in politics!
