Belén Iñguez

Development Associate

Belén (she/they) is a proud queer voting rights advocate, organizer, and nonprofit founder born in Jalisco, Mexico. She became a naturalized citizen in 2018 and shortly after became a VDR in East Texas and got to work to register as many folks as possible to vote in her community. She has prior experience in the Texas Legislature, community organizing, and campaign and nonprofit fundraising. She is passionate about tapping into the political potential of marginalized communities. When she’s not working on passion projects, you can find her tending to her plant babies or skateboarding.

We need your support.

Arena needs your help to convene, train and support the next generation of candidates and campaign staff. Our programs are designed to make politics more accessible to more people. That’s why everything we do is free or low cost. This is made possible by the support of generous donors. Chip in to help progressives build winning campaigns.
