Arena Academy

Break into politics or strengthen your skills in a specific area

Arena Academy is a five-day multidisciplinary training program. You will interact with participants from around the country and learn from leading experts in the fields. We offer seven tracks: Campaign Management, Communications, Data, Digital, Finance, Organizer, and Organizing Director. About half of your time will be spent learning skills and tools you need to become a political professional in your track. The other half of your time is spent in plenary sessions learning about important campaign topics such as equity and inclusion, management, data, and digital integration. The entire experience culminates in a hands-on, experiential project called the Arena Cup.

This is an interactive learning experience, so you’ll need to be present and ready to participate during all five days of Academy.

Arena Academy 201

Level up your management skills

We designed Arena Academy 201 to support people managers on campaigns. Too often, managers on a campaign have little to no support for their own professional development. We also know that good managers affect the experiences of their staff and lay the groundwork for campaigns that are more equitable and inclusive. We created Arena Academy 201 training to help political professionals both level-up their management skills and navigate the transition to management roles on campaigns.

We want to ensure that managers are confident in themselves and their abilities to manage with equity, make strategic decisions, integrate information from across departments, and master new skills required by their roles. This will be a 2.5-day program hosted online.
